Description
The LoRa CO2 Eco Sensor is an innovative, eco-friendly indoor sensor designed with cutting-edge technology to monitor air quality by measuring temperature, humidity and CO2 levels. This wireless LoRaWAN sensor is characterized by its unique organic solar cell power supply, which makes conventional batteries superfluous. This not only reduces the ecological footprint of the appliance, but also lowers maintenance costs and increases user-friendliness. Its housing made of biodegradable material underlines its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
With its minimalist Scandinavian design, the LoRa CO2 Eco Sensor fits seamlessly into any interior without being obtrusive. Thanks to its ability to last up to 30 days without light, it offers reliable performance even in less sun-drenched environments. The sensor’s self-adapting transmission function adjusts the data transmission rates to the ambient conditions, enabling an optimum balance between power consumption and transmission interval. This ultra-modern sensor is therefore an ideal solution for anyone who values environmental protection, efficiency and modern design.

Plug & Play integration into the overall system
It’s easy to obtain your first measurement data in just a few minutes thanks to the modular system – from the sensor to the cloud.
Your benefits with the LineMetrics platform
All-in-one: A complete system for room monitoring
1. Record air quality & CO2
The solar-powered CO2 wireless sensor can be installed in any room. It reliably records all values and transmits them via LoRa.
2. transmit measurement data
The LoRa wireless gateway creates a wireless network for up to 1,000 sensors. The collected measurement data is transmitted to the cloud via mobile radio.
3. evaluate and alert
All sensors are managed and all measurement data stored in the cloud. Analyses, alerts and data integration via API are easily possible.
What is behind it? Find out what LineMetrics can do to help you easily obtain the measurement data you need.
Developing and operating an IoT-based monitoring solution is more complex than many people think. Here is just a small excerpt of what LineMetrics can do for you in the background so that you can easily and reliably obtain the measurement data you need:
Selection of international suppliers, supply chain management and price negotiations
Selection and testing of individual hardware devices, hardware quality management
Device and firmware management
Optimizations in terms of radio range and battery life
Database management
Connectivity management (SIM cards)
Security and encryption, including updates
Creation of instructions and support during rollout
24/7 monitoring of the entire solution, support in the event of problems
Cloud platform: Analyze and process measured values
The LineMetrics Cloud allows you to create individual dashboards on which you can keep an eye on the data that is most important to you. Measured values can be displayed, combined and colored in the form of bars, curves, dial gauges, etc. This screenshot shows past and current measured values of the sensor:
Warning messages can be created for individual ranges/limit values and provided with a trigger delay. This means that no warning is sent if critical values are only briefly exceeded. A second condition for triggering a warning can also be configured.
Alerts can be sent by e-mail (see screenshot) or SMS. The recipient, subject and message can be easily configured individually.
Plug & play: obtain measurement data quickly and easily (< 3 minutes!)
The LineMetrics complete solution enables the solution to be commissioned via plug & play – without technicians, IT department, cable laying and network access. We will send you all the hardware with all accessories and simple commissioning instructions. The first measurement data can be analyzed in the LineMetrics Cloud within a few minutes. For questions, problems and tips, we have set up a comprehensive service center for you and can of course also be contacted personally at any time.

Efficient roll-out
A fast and cost-effective roll-out is possible with employees on site, no matter how many locations, no matter where in Europe. Everything required for commissioning and operating the solution is included – right down to the SIM card with LTE data package.
Professional support
A competent contact for questions, whether it’s about sensors, wireless connections, databases or dashboards. In addition, the help center, knowledge base and support ticket system are available 24/7.
Simple integration (API)
Existing software and apps can continue to be used and automatically enriched with sensor data via API. This does not change existing processes and IT systems.
The most important questions and answers from the field
Where do I mount the sensor? CO2 sensors should be mounted at approximately head height, i.e. at a height of around 1.8m. Placement near windows, doors or ventilation systems can falsify the measured values. Details can be found in the commissioning instructions supplied.
How many sensors do I need? Ideally, an area of 20 to 25 m² is monitored with one sensor. This guide value naturally depends on the room layout and how closely monitoring is to be carried out. For larger projects, we are happy to create individual concepts based on the room plans.
How is calibration carried out? The sensor calibrates itself using ABC (Automatic Baseline Calibration). To do this, it measures the lowest CO2 value within an 8-day period and uses this as the starting value (400 ppm).
What are the CO2 limits? Fresh air contains 400 ppm (parts per million). Even a concentration of 1,000 ppm impairs work performance; values around 1,500 ppm indicate poor air quality. Several tens of thousands of ppm are considered life-threatening.
Can I remove the sensor? The sensor can be easily removed and placed elsewhere as long as it is within the radio range of a LineMetrics LoRa gateway in the same account.
Can I buy just the sensor? No. LineMetrics is not a hardware vendor, but the ideal solution for anyone who wants to focus on their business and drive it forward with sensor data. This is only possible with an all-in-one solution.

The most important questions and answers from the field
